What do you like best about fall/winter time?
I love waking up and it being pitch black out except when I walk to the bus stop being the neighbors having christmas lights on and the nativity at church. Going into school and friends talking about the holidays right about now and planning parties. When we get ready for choir performances the goosebumps that come with certain songs where you feel spirit inside of you. Coming home seeing decorations outside and you feel like there is a light in you that you've waited for. The wait for thanksgiving and counting the days until thanksgiving and being thankful that you have a life worth living for where you want everything to be perfect. Seeing the Christmas tree up for the first time and you bake banana bread and monkey bread, caserole, etc. for people in need(we bake them for other students, doctors offices and sick children) and you feel so wonderful that you give your dues(I even give out walking down the streets) and drinking hot chocolate for the first time in a year and you just get a tingling in you that makes you even more anxious. Answering questions like these makes you get a jumpy feeling in yourself knowing that in under 70 days now, Christmas will be here and we'll see the first snow fall, tubing with my friends, possibly going down closed streets in four wheelers with neighbors. Oh it's what dreams are made of for me... :)
