Is light coke similar to diet coke?

is light coke similar to diet coke?or maybe the new name of diet coke is light coke?the thing is i need to do storyboard about diet coke+mentos explosion when it be put together.however, here in my country,malaysia..i couldnt find any diet coke..then i think maybe i can replace it with light coke.does the explosion will happen if i use light coke?or maybe i should replace mentos with soluble panadol?somebody plz help me..i baffling and stress with my ignment submission date with only just 2 weeks to come!
