We just bought a new tank for our grill. It worked fine 2 days ago now it won't ignite.?

Eventually the sparker goes out on the grill which when pressed lights the propane, mine went out a long time ago, I use an extended lighter when I hear the gas come on, but take caution, do not let the gas keep running without lighting it, must be lighted immediately, and stand back when doing it.
