Re-begginning Golfer, would like advice on new set of clubs?

I would recommend going to Golf Galaxy or Golfsmith shops and look through the used clubs. That way you can get a top of the line model at a greatly reduced price. Fitting is very helpful, but may be overkill since you are just starting out. Unless your arms are very long, or very short for your body standard length clubs will work just fine.
