Questions on amping components?

Hey I'm looking at purchasing a pair of the Focal 165a1's. It's a 6.5" component speaker. I want to get an amp for them. But, what amplifier should I get, a mono, or a two channel? When I do amplify my speakers, how do i connect it all together. Should I just have have the tweeter and the mid b driver connected to to the crossover, and then have the crossover hooked to my amp? I know that if I just use the components without an amp., the tweeter and the mid b driver get connected to the crossover. But i have heard of people connecting their tweeters straight to the amp? Can somebody tell me what that's all about, and if that's the way you're suppose to set it up then show me how its done. Anyways, if I do purchase the Focals, what channel, and how big of an amp. should I get (watts wise)? It states the Focals are 60 RMS a piece. So how big of a mono amp or two channel should I get? Thank you.
