Professing Christians: Do you believe in unconditional love?

I've been doing exactly this to a difficult family member. Its about putting God on the throne of your life and having a desire to serve him. Also about learning to identify with his sufferings. The bible says that doing good to your enemies is like pouring hot coals on their head. It causes their heart to repent. If we treat our enemies like the world treats their enemies, then our Christian example is no good and it will never win others to Christ.
