Is there any thin, light weight optical gl lens for specs for power higher than -7.0?

As per the prescription i had -6.0 in my left eye and -6.5 in my right eye. it is given 1.0 CYL in both. I am using specs. Now the power is increased to -7.0 in left and -7.5 in right. The specs i use now is somewhat big at the edges. I don't like to use contact lens as i used them before and didn't feel comfortable. So anyone please tell me is there any thin optical gles for specs specially for high powers which looks thin at edges like low power specs? Thanks in advance.
